Merline La Dell

Merline La Dell was born on Dec. 23, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . She move to Phoenix, Arizona at an early age where she attended Percy L. Julian School and finished her schooling. Merline soon after that, met Napoleon La Dell, married him and had 6 children. Esta Hendrix(Charles), Creise (Eddie), Napoleon (Anita), Leonard, Tony (Monica) and Howard. Merline had 15 grand children,18 great grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Merline retired from Phoenix Linen Supply after working 36 yrs. as a laundry worker. She attended Victory Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society and the Senior Choir. Pastor H.B Randal and Pastor Luusicas was her watchman. Merline leaves behind her loving sister, Juanita Jackson and her long time friend, sister and law, and partner in crime Jessie Mae Jackson.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, loving husband Napoleon R. La Dell; son, Leonard Len La Dell, and Cresie La Dell Dunbar. Merline is survived by a host of uncles , aunts, nieces, cousins and family friends. Merline went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus CHRIST. She was deeply loved by her family, friends and community. She will sorely be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in the arms of God
