Michael Kevin Friedel was born on July 22, 1982 in Anchorage, Alaska and died on April 14, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. Michael graduated in 2000 from Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California and attended classes at Las Positas College. He worked for Lowe’s Home Improvement for 13 years and was most recently employed at the Scottsdale store.
Michael was a talented artist and pyrographer, often gifting friends and family with his work. He was an avid marksman, a competitive gamer, a gentle and kind man, and an amazing friend. He also had a deep love for animals, especially cats. His family and close friends mourn his loss, and will always remember his infectious smile, laughter, and great big hugs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Colleen Todd, and is survived by his stepfather, Rob Todd, his grandmother, Anita Haraughty, his uncles Kevin Haraughty (Denise) and William Haraughty, his aunts Kathleen Moylan (Michael), Kelly Francovich (Chris), and cousins Miranda, Adele and Marina.
Michael will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
