Michael William Hoffman went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2017 after a heroic battle with liver cancer. Mike was born February 24, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Lyda Hoffman. He worked for the Washington School District for 28 years as a Facilities Manager, retiring in 2016. Although he enjoyed golfing and reading, his real passion was his family. You could count on him to attend every family gathering, sometimes more than one in a day! Everyone who met him would agree that he was the kindest, most gentle, compassionate and caring person, who was so very easy to love. Mike was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan through thick and thin and took a lot of teasing from others
.
