Mike loved sports, especially football, with his favorite teams being the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Arizona Cardinals. As a young man, he started working as a plumber and advanced to field superintendent for Pueblo HVAC & Plumbing with over 40 years of experience in all aspects of commercial and residential plumbing. Free time was spent watching various sporting events both live and on TV. Mike played both football and baseball at Burke High School of Omaha, Nebraska; where he graduated in 1977. Almost every weekend you could find Mike on golf courses all over the Phoenix valley and once in a while, Mike would travel out of state to enjoy the mountains of Colorado or the beach. He was a loving grandfather and was always available to help a relative or a friend in need. Mike was a great father and friend. He will be missed by many.
Mike is survived by his parents James and Priscilla, his son Chad Leffler and his daughter Rena Leffler; his brothers James Leffler Jr., Donald Leffler, Mark Leffler and Gerald Leffler.
