Hi Mike. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. I know you’re still with us, even if we can’t see you. As guidance and comfort, helping us through the all the moments we need along our walk through this life. Your daughter is such a beautiful girl, inside and out. Of course, you know that. Still, some days are harder than others without my best friend here laughing with me about the silly things we experience throughout the week. It has been 5 years, but still feels like yesterday that I said with a smile, “See you next week!” I love you, Mike, and miss you so much. Thank you for all you’ve done in life and all you continue to do after. Gone, but never forgotten.

We are having a celebration of life church service for Micheal on March 11th at 11:00am. ( Can’t believe this will be 3 years ) 

Service will be held at Pure Heart Church 14240 N 43rd Ave Glendale 85306. 

Service from 11:00 - 12:00 followed by a gathering from 12:00 - 1:30. 

We will have food and drinks. Hope to see you there. Please message me if you plan on attending the gathering so I can plan accordingly. 🥰

I miss you! I recently had a memory come on my phone of us at a spring training game 2 years ago.  Your face with that cheesy smile always pops into my head and I never want it to fade away. Love you brother. 

Mike, I often come back to re-read these memories and things you did. We all still miss you dearly.. we always will. Thank you for being there. I want you to know no one has forgotten about you. We miss and love you dearly.

Mike I am sorry you had to leave the world so soon, but you will ABSOLUTELY never leave our hearts. I wish we could have spent more time together after High School, but I will cherish those years we wreaked havoc ;) Cisco Networking class was great, we tested out the LAN daily playing CounterStrike, when we weren't configuring routers.

We would leave campus at lunch and whoever lost our bet of the day had to ride my bmx to McDonalds to get everyone food. There was about 3-6 of us on any given lunch break. 

Another memory, which only Neal could pull off. For context it was a small motor bike that was powered by a lawn mower engine. With Mike on the hot seat, he drove it through where  parents would typically pick up their kids at Coronado HS. He pulled in on the under powered and defiantly not street legal motor bike. This is where Mike is Mike, he sat there and just revved it over and over like it was some V-Twin Harley. After what seemed like an eternity, he just pulled away.

So, Mike had a black Toyota Celica. Two wonderful stories come to mind.

1) A coin of fun
     --So this story starts with Mike at a drive through. He is in his Celica waiting as everyone does. However he is playing with a quarter and the small cracks around his steering wheel's airbag. That is when the coin slips from Mike's (so he said) hand and gets lost. From now on, whenever Mike would drive that quarter would magically turn on the horn at the most in-opportune time. May it be just him driving, or a drive through, didn't matter to the quarter. I remember him driving with his hands out of the window just to prove it wasn't him. Eventually the quarter did fall out...

2) Just in the nick of gas
   --Just remember the story, wasn't with him at the time. He was driving and just about to run about of gas, and as he was turning into the gas station, he ran out, popped the clutch and gracefully coasted into a spot.

Mike, you will missed, but NEVER forgotten...

Micheal David,  not having you here with us anymore is one of the hardest things I am going to have to navigate for the rest of my life. 
We had some rocky moments when you were in high school. I didn't know if we were going to get through it in one piece. You could just drive me crazy with your sneaky ways. I used to get so mad  when I would try to talk to you all serious about something and you would turn around and say something so YOU like, that I would just start laughing. Oh that drove me crazy. Then the whole bull riding adventure ugh..... you could talk your dad into anything.  I was so petrified I held my breath until I was blue. You finally did it and I was like ok cool now we can go home. Nope you liked it had to go back for more. You were so fearless.  There is so much I could say, but they don't give us that much space. 
I'm going to close this by telling you, you are forever going to be in my heart, you will live there for as long as it beats.  Your missed more then I will ever be able to express in words. You definitely left a huge hole in my heart.

I have so many wonderful memories with you. Like the trip to showlow with just us kids. We had a blast. Also when you let my sister and I do your makeup. You took a big cheesing photo after too. The dark red lipstick and blue eye shadow went so well with your skin tone lol. Ill never forget the time you just wanted to make me laugh so you said "if I sneeze a bugger bubble out my nose will you promise to not be sad anymore?" Me thinking no way he can do this i just agreed. You spent atleast an hour looking at the light, sun, snorting pepper, just to do it and holy shit you did! You ran around the old sharron house while holding your snot bubble lmfao. I think you were more impressed than me but it made everything funny. You talked me into going onto my first roller coaster ride ever! In circus circus when gpa pete and joli got married. You knew how scared i was and promised to make it fun. I did it and was still terrified but the picture is priceless and im glad you talked me into it. I wish your last few months here we were closer.. But ive since had 2 dreams of you and i think your just letting me know you still love me and know how much i love and will miss you. Love you cousin. Thanks for all the amazing memories. Till we meet again.

Brother, I miss you so much. I will forever miss our greetings of saying "Hi Brother" " Hi Sister". Our time was cut way too short and I will never think of time spent with family the same. You have taught me to hold everyone a little tighter. Many of my memories are you being crazy or you trying to annoy me by sticking your finger in my ear or poking me. One of my favorite memories is of you trying to unclog the toilet while standing in the shower with the curtain around you - screaming ewww the whole time. Thinking about it now just puts a smile on my face, that's what you always did. I will make sure to be there for Kylie and tell her how crazy her daddy was. I'll teach her how to do a super punch like you taught me. Love you Brother.

I want to thank you for the impact you had in my best friends life. Everyone has talked about you and how you were a part of their life but I want to post about what I saw you do for Melissa and Ava. I remember telling Melissa that I was happy you two were together because there would never be anyone in this world that would love her more than you. You showed her that she deserves to be loved and respected. You showed Ava what real love looks like from how you loved Melissa to how you loved her. You will be loved and missed by so many but your short time on earth you really did help others in a way you probably never knew. Rest easy my friend and know I will do my best to help take care of Melissa even though she doesn’t need it because she is tough! 

Michael, you have such a pure heart and an amazing smile. Everyone loved being around you. Thank you for the memories.

I’ve been thinking of you so much lately it’s crazy. Your spirit is  very strong. Even though it’s been many years  that we’ve seen each other., I feel like it was just yesterday that I had spoken to you. I have an apology to make, I am so sorry I missed u up north for my aunts 50th birthday. That was a lot of the reason I went on the trip, besides of course, my aunts birthday, but for the opportunity to see you. I kept asking whe.n you would be there and everyone kept telling me you weren’t coming until the next day and later in the afternoon. I tried to wait, but had some other issues going on, and returned to Phoenix before seeing you. I am so sorry, I wish I could of had the chance to see you. I want you to know too, that even though we hadn’t seen each other for so long, every time I saw your dad and leanna, when we got older, I asked about you too. I really wish we could of hung out like we did as kids, as adults. Although I wouldn’t change  my childhood memories for nothing, I had a great upbringing, a big part of my life was spending the weekends with my aunt and uncle and cousins, and being able to hang out and see you. You were my childhood crush, and I think I was too for you, and we had such a fun time together.  Even though you were a little quite, you were used to our family and our Italian always and fit all in very well.  We went alley sailing in the big suburban in the hot heat and bumped the music loud as hell, while u sat and laughed all the time, with your hat on backwards laughing away. I miss those days. We used to instant message each other on aol u til my aunt literally kicked me off the computer and I would be super upset with her because I couldn’t talk to you anymore, even though it was four in the morning and you were directly across the street from me.  I’m am very thankful that I did however, reconnect with you this past summer.  Mike, you will never be forgotten in my heart, hope you can hear this....

You left us much too soon and it is so hard for everyone who loved you to imagine a world without you here.  I am so grateful that you were able to visit Donna, Ed and I last year with Lisa, Steve and Kylie.  We had such a great time touring Washington and just sitting at home cheering for Kylie as she sang and danced.   I will always cherish the memories of that last visit with you.  If I had known it was going to be the last time I saw you, I would have held you a little longer for that final hug. Little Micheal was a kind-hearted kid who tried his best to beat the odds. He loved with his whole heart, had a dry and quirky sense of humor, and made his family proud. His life, albeit so very brief, will leave a long-lasting legacy with his family. Liana and Mike, my heartfelt condolences. 

Hey Mike. Oh man, you’re just never prepared for something like this. Never thought I’d have to share memories we had like this. We had no business being best friends. Haha. We really didn’t have a lot in common. When we met I was this short little Italian kid and you were this gangly pale red head. I spent all day outside and I honestly wasn’t sure if it was safe for you to be outside for long periods of time. Haha. I loved basketball, you loved hockey (in a desert none the less.) haha. But some how it worked. We became the best of friends. My likes became your likes and vice versa. We’d play one on one basketball in my drive way for hours and you somehow convinced me to strap on rollerblades, borrow one of your hockey sticks and play one on one hockey in 110° weather in your drive way.

There truly is only a handful of people in this world that I was as close with as I was you. One of the few people I could talk to about anything and that was during a very important time in my life. We were best friends just before and during high school. As cliche as it sounds, that is such a crazy and confusing time in a young boy’s life and we went through every crazy confusing moment together. 

I could fill an entire website with our memories, there are just too many. The ones I’ll probably cherish the most is our ridiculous walks. We could and would walk absolutely everywhere. 3-4 miles in Arizona summers to Fashion Square on a regular basis, morning walks to school with stops at Burger King, 5 am walk/skating down to The Wedge, we even walked something like 13 miles after you took the bus to come rescue me from work on my 16th birthday so I could get my license and we’d never have to walk anywhere again. Haha. Those walks will forever be with me. The jokes, the laughs, the stuff I can’t exactly share because the statue of limitations might not have run up yet. Haha. Amongst a ridiculous amount of other memories, I’ll cherish those the most because only we have them.

I only met you a few times when you were a little boy but knowing your Dad, you turned out to be an exceptional man. You leave behind a beautiful child that will be loved by him and your family. I hope you Rest In Peace. 

We all miss you. We know you are watching us from Heaven and you are protecting us. I was not as close with Michael as I wish I was but I loved him like he was a family member. He took care of my brothers & I when he didn’t have too. He has such a caring and open heart. I will make sure to take care of Kylie and make sure she is happy. Thank you for helping me when I needed it and making sure we were all happy. I love you and thank you for everything.

I miss you already. You have been taken from us FAR too early. I have officially seen how unfair life can really be. 

I remember when we first met. Instantly, we hit it off. I always enjoyed when you were coming over to hang out. You always made everyone laugh. Life of the party! We went a while without talking much. Little did I know, just a few years later, here you would come, struttin back into my life. Mr. Charisma. You had this charm about you, this vibe that could make anyone feel comfortable. Then, when I was pregnant with Kylie, we were trying to make it together. You really wanted to be there for me and I appreciated that tremendously, I always will. Unfortunately, neither of us were ready for the emotional rollercoaster I was. We may not have worked out as a couple, but you have always been one of my best friends! You had come so far, we are all so proud of you. You have made a huge impact on my life. One that I will carry with me for the rest of mine.

I am grateful for the beautiful baby girl we have together and to be welcomed as a part of your wonderful family. With the help of your family and friends, my family, and my children (Harlie, Heath, and Colton), who also love you and Kylie immensely, I will take care of our little one. I promise to make sure she knows she is loved beyond comprehension. I promise to make sure she knows she is never alone. I promise to make sure to always encourage her to reach for the stars because there is nothing in this world that can limit her abilities. You will always be alive in our hearts. Through your daughter, Kylie Rae, your legacy, kind soul, and love will be carried on forever. I'm relieved to know that the pain of your struggle is over and this demon is no longer haunting you.

Sweet Micheal,  You grew up across the street from us so my kids were your dads kids and you were ours too. You three boys were so very close. I hated that you all grew up. I no longer got to hear the laughter of you boys causing chaos. I am so very greatful to have had you at my 50th and to see you and frankie once again cryin with laughter telling your dads all the things you did we didnt know about. Your smile will be burned into my heart forever as well as the last big hug you gave me. My prays to all who loved him. He was a very loving sweet guy who charmed his way into everyones heart. I pray he is at peace forever watching over us all. 

Never did I think id have to write these words. You were such a beautiful bright soul. There was a reason you were a red head so you can shine brighter then the rest. You were a brother no doubt about it. You were there through the laughs, tears, screams, and meltdowns. From jackass videos to WWE you did everything with my brothers like you guys were meant to be. God has gained an angel and has taken all the pain away. May you be at peace and forever watch over your family. I love you big brother.

I am so sorry for your loss. Micheal will forever be in our hearts as well as his fun and tenacious spirit. His ability to comfort and enliven was a special quality we all aspire to attain. I will always remember my travel companion and the journey we took across the United States in my Jeep. Seeing things with Micheal was exhilarating. What we experienced would make any seasoned traveler envious.Thats the spirit Micheal had for life. I pray that God will bless you and give you strength to remember my nephew for his love of family and friends and the joy he brought to anyone he met.
