

Mirth Carol Jerman (88) passed away October 5th 2011 at the Stratford Assisted Living Center in Phoenix. Mirth was born (twin), to Clair and Cora Dillon in Wray, Colorado on September 29th, 1923 on the family farm. Mirth was one of 5 girls and 1 boy. Mirth is preceded in death by her husband Harold (Hal), sisters; Erma, Merna (twin), Leora, Bobbi and Mirth's only son Rodney Starke. She is survived by her younger brother Don, two grandchildren, Wade (Brant) Starke and Karen Richardson. She had five great grand children and one great-great grandchild. Mirth had worked as a Radiologist Assistant in Tucson before moving to San Manuel and then Phoenix where she met Hal. Hal and Mirth married December 31st 1969.They lived in Phoenix for a great many years enjoying golf and running to Roosevelt Lake and pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Mirth also enjoyed ceramics and all kinds of other crafts, but most of all she loved to laugh. She will be missed. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave in Phoenix. Viewing at 1:00 pm, Service at 2:00 pm and Graveside at 3:00 pm.
