Morris D. Russell (1940 - 2013) passed away Monday Oct. 28th in Arizona. He moved from his place of birth in Missouri with his parents Melvin and Pauline in 1952, with a short years stay in San francisco and then to Phoenix in 1953 where he lived out the rest of his life, graduating from North High and then NAU. Morris taught school in AZ for approx 33 years most of which were at Alhambra High where he was largely responsible for the development and success of their VICA program. He also had a very successful Financial planning business and will be remembered by many as their "Tax Man". As a beloved family man he leaves behind his four children, Tiffany, Thomas, Timothy, Tyler...Eight grandchildren, Skyler, Zachary, Tristan, Kennedy, Hannah, Jordon, Cole , Carly, one great grandchild Mateo and his former wife of 27 years Patty Russell. Memorial Services will be held Saturday Nov. 2nd, 10:00am, at Greenwood Memory Lawn 719 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85009. Please enter off of 27th Ave.
