Nancy Jane (Neal) Simmons

Nancy Jane Simmons, 88 of Sun City West, Arizona went peacefully home to be with her Lord on August 9, 2026. Nancy was born in Zion, Illinois on July 12, 1938 to Parents James Theodore Neal and Rachel E. Neal.

In 1953 the family moved to Phoenix due to family health issues. Nancy attended Phoenix Christian High school where she was a cheerleader and served in several class offices. She continued her education at Arizona State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. Nancy was a homemaker as well as a realtor for over 30 years.

She leaves behind husband Jerry Simmons, sons Jerry Simmons Jr., James B. Simmons (Christy), Sisters, Teddi Nicolosi (John- deceased), Judi Pierce (Ray). Grand children, Ryan Sadowski (Alyssa), Emily Sadowski, Logan (Chandra) Simmons, Hayden Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Levi Simmons, and four great grandchildren.

Nancy and Jerry began dating at 16 and this year celebrated 67 years of marriage. Nancy had a kind spirit and sincere interest in everyone we met and we will miss her so much.

Services will be at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85013 on Friday August 21, 2026. Viewing at 10:30am and Service at 11:00am.
