

Olga Kochick Holt passed away on May 2, 2010. She was born March 24, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Harrison High School in Chicago in 1944, and soon after met and married her husband, Russell T. Holt, Sr., a WW II Veteran. They were married for 57 years and he predeceased her in 2002. They relocated from Chicago to Phoenix in 1969, where she had a lengthy career with the State of Arizona working for both the Arizona Racing Commission and the Dept. of Environmental Services. She retired in 1989. Our loving mother enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, painting, writing and traveling. She is survived by her five children sons Russell and Michael Holt, daughters Emily Boers, Theresa Charlie, Rochelle Holt along with grandchildren, Jacob and John Charlie, Jacalyn Holt, Robert, Christine and Troy Boers. We are sad to see her depart, but we rejoice in knowing she is finally free of pain and rejoined with husband, parents, brother and sister. We will miss her very much. Funeral service will be 10 Am Thursday at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85013, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation 7 - 9 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
