Patricia attended St. Lucy Catholic School. She then went on to participate in Terrebonne General Hospital’s program where she became a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She loved caring for people.
At an early age Patricia accepted Christ. She looked forward to enjoying her life as a follower and putting God first in everything she did. She was a great example to all and was always excited to share the Word of God.
On October 13, 1971 she gave birth to her first born, Detrick Branston. She enjoyed him while learning all about motherhood for seven years until her second born, Desmond Branston, came into the world on August 2, 1978. She was even more excited to now have a second boy who brought her just as much joy. It wasn’t until September 3, 1985 when she gave birth to a star, her one and only baby girl, Deatra Branston, and she finally got her legacy. She adored all of her children, did everything in her power to ensure they were taken care of and loved them beyond words.
She moved to Arizona in 1986 to help her sisters take care of their mother. As time went on and with the passing of her mother, Patricia decided to make Arizona her permanent home. She started working at Phoenix Baptist Hospital where she later retired from the medical field after an injury.
Patricia leaves behind to mourn her passing her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She is proceeded in death by her mother Edna Lucille Branston, her father Jesse Lee Branston and a host of relatives and friends.
