Patricia Sherrill

Patricia Patterson Sherrill, age 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 27, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born September 11, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas to William Alfred and Mary Katherine Patterson. She married James Sherrill, her husband of thirty-five years in Houston, Texas in 1988.

Her father was an international exploration geophysicist so Tricia and her sister Tracy attended middle school and high school over-seas. The family first resided in Brisbane, Australia for five years followed with several more years in Singapore. The family returned state-side in 1975.

Tricia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology and corrections from Sam Houston State University in 1978. Shortly before marriage, she and James moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she proudly served her community as a paralegal with two prominent law firms for over twenty-five years.

Tricia loved life and had a soft spot for all wildlife especially birds. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and hiking the desert canyons. Tricia was a wonderful wife, mom, sister and daughter.

Tricia is survived by her husband James Sherrill and son William Sherrill, sister Tracy Patterson Zemanek and her husband John, their son and daughter Patrick and Emilie.
