Patrick J. Mullican AKA “Cactus Pat” (54) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on December 6, 1966 in Phoenix, Arizona to L.D. Mullican and Evelyn (Whitmore) Mullican. He married Michelle L. (Tedeschi) Mullican on August 22, 1987 in Glendale, Arizona. They had three children, Cassandra Mullican, Bridget Mullican, and Joeseph Mullican. He worked in pest control, fire/water restoration, and as a Building Maintenance Technician for a retirement community. He enjoyed working with the elderly and felt he was doing something great to help them. He had a great sense of humor, and made friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing, camping, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a Martin Archery Staff Shooter. He won several awards in target shooting with the XPC Hunt Club. He and his family studied martial arts with the Red Dragons under Sifu Denis Wooten. He won Arizona State Champion in Kumite. He also studied martial arts under Sifu Dennis Conatser Sr. He used to say he wasn’t a cat man but when the family took in several cats through the years, Wilbur, Murray, Kiki, and Perseus, he quickly took to them and loved them as his children. He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Lynn) Mullican; his daughters, Cassandra Mullican and Bridget Keohane, Bridget’s husband Nick Keohane; his son, Joeseph Mullican; his grand-children, Aeva, Zoe, and Rhea Williams, Asher Mullican, and Alexander Keohane; his sister, Yvonne Donaldson; his nieces, Patricia Donaldson and Jineane Donaldson-Dagnino; his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Martha York; cats Murray and Wilbur. Private services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. to reminisce, grieve, share stories, support each other, and chat.
