

Pauline was born on August 31, 1929, in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. In 1947, she met and married the love of her life, Richard Terrance Slade, in Arizona. Together they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and love, where they raised their children and laid the foundation for a legacy that would span generations.
Pauline’s greatest treasure was her family of nine children, thirty-five grandchildren, ninety-seven great-grandchildren, and sixty great-great-grandchildren. Her life was a living testament of love, service, and sacrifice.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Terrance Slade, one grandson, one granddaughter, and one great-great-grandson.
Pauline was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her church. She spent countless hours volunteering her time and caring for others, especially those who were sick or in need. Her compassion and quiet service touched many lives and left a lasting impression on her community.
She also found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Pauline was an exceptional candy maker, famous for her chocolate-covered candies and caramels, which became cherished treats for family and friends. She loved to dance and would take any opportunity to do so.
Pauline will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held on January 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the External Service Location, 10930 W Garden Lakes Pkwy, Avondale, AZ, 85392, United States.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
