Peter Gonzales Baca, 84, died Tuesday, April 2nd 2019. Born and raised in Salado, AZ, the son of Vivian Baca and Manuela Gonzales, he became a long time resident of Phoenix, AZ over the years. He married his wife Floradia Baca in the 1970’s , they celebrated over 40 year's of marriage together she proceeded him in death. He leaves four brothers Steve Baca, Lorenzo Baca, Joe Rudy Najar and Tommy Najar. Along with two sisters Carmen Baca Hanshaw, Mary Leyva and several nieces, nephews and several close friends. In his early years, Mr. Baca enjoyed playing in a band with multiple family members as the lead guitarist. He also enjoyed volunteering at his local community church St. Mary’s. He enjoyed long walks and to play bingo with his wife. Mr. Baca had a passion for music and we would like to honor and celebrate his life one last time altogether. Pete and his wife loved to dance and sing together. He was the jokester and always would make everyone smile and laugh. He will always be remembered for the music he shared with the family. Funeral Services will be held on April 13, 2019 at Greenwood Mortuary at 12pm for the viewing, a Rosary Service at 1pm.
