Once in a blue moon, you find someone who has an extra spark of personal magnetism - real star power. Phillip had that combined with a finely tuned sense of justice and humanity....probably what led him to Real Estate as a career, where he not only made a living, but quietly helped lots of folks improve their status. Memoriams and Obituaries tend to be flowery, using soaring words, but how do you properly celebrate a plainly decent guy who is a master of his craft, able to work and play with anyone, from street vendor to corporate CEO and make them into lifelong friends? He found ways to improve life for all within range of his energy. Career didn't divert him from family. All of us remember his excursions inclusive of every niece and nephew (most involved fishing). He could tell jokes like no one else. We'll miss all that and we're just sure he glad handed Saint Peter February 11th had a joke for him, and got busy gathering those loved ones who went up the golden staircase before him for the biggest family fishing trip ever. Salute, Phillip, for a life well lived.... Author: Merrill Anderson

Something interesting happened today. I was in (my husband) Ty's office, and just happened to see an old birthday card from 2 years ago on his shelf. Ty never has stuff like that sitting around, unless it's a current birthday or something. The card was from Mollie & Phil wishing him a happy birthday. Ty has no idea how the card appeared there. It must be Phil, in spirit saying, "hey I'm still here" just in a different form! :) Knowing that your resting in peace, gives me peace as well.

We're sorry to hear the news about Phillip. Thanks Merrill for sending out that wonderful email to all of us. We will remember him always.

Remember the good times. I will always remember holidays at Agnes and Ada Anderson's house and playing with Marlene. Those are some good memories.

Blessings and God's peace to all of you.

I was so sorry to learn of Phil's passing. Due to medical issues, I cannot be at the funeral tomorrow....but my thoughts and prayers are with you, Mollie, and the rest of Phil's family.

I guess I can only add the following to what others have expressed:

"The world was a better place
because he was here; Now heaven
is a better place because he is

Rest in peace, Phil. God bless.
