

Mrs. Po Chu Wong, 84, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2013. She was born September 6, 1928 in Toi San County, Guangdong Province, China. In China she was a homemaker and teacher’s assistant. She left China for Hong Kong in 1958. In 1967 she immigrated to Miami Beach, Florida where she continued as a homemaker until moving to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1974. She worked at the Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale for 20 years until her retirement, and has remained as a Scottsdale resident. She is preceded in death by her father, Jing Wing Mah; mother, Fun Sim Wong Mah; and husband, Mon Wei Wong. She is survived by her sister, Jean Wong; brother, Gong Sen Mah; sons, Peter Wong and wife Peggy Wong and Henry Wong and wife Sue Wong; daughter, MeiWah Wong; grandchildren Christina, Jennifer, Christopher, Alex and Nicky, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009 at 9:00 a.m. with private funeral services following at 10:00 a.m. Committal will take place immediately following service at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
