I have many memories that I have that I would like to share. One particular moment that stands out the most. Its a memory that happened 16 yrs ago that changed my life forever. We were having a great time together at a park near by. There was a cute guy jogging. So, Racheal decided to be herself.  She yelled I quote,"my sister thinks your hot. " Not soon after he came back. And that is how I met my husband.  So very grateful to her. I wouldn't have him or my 2 beautiful children in my life. Rae you forever changed my life.  Thank u for being u in so many ways.  I love u so very much. Ur sis Vero

Looking at this picture of the two of you as young women, I see two sisters with your whole lives ahead of you. So much possibility. So many years that should have been yours to live.

In 2018, we said goodbye to one of you. And now, in 2026, we find ourselves saying goodbye to the other. Eight years apart, yet the heartbreak of losing you both feels deeply connected.

Your lives are a reminder to those of us still here that life is precious, and the choices we make matter. Take care of your body. Take care of your mind. Surround yourself with people who lift you up. And when life gets hard, have the courage to reach for help and choose a path that protects the life you’ve been given.

We never know how many years we have. So choose to live them. Choose your health. Choose the people you love. Choose tomorrow. Because every day we are given is a gift—and one worth protecting.

Rest peacefully, ladies. You will be remembered.

I can’t express how much I will miss you, and how deeply you will be missed by your family and friends. You were about 80% fun and games and 20% serious—and that’s what made you, you. You sure knew how to push my buttons, especially when you would smack my butt when I was in a bad mood! Those are the little memories I will hold onto forever.

You may not have been given the easiest life, but your fun-filled, silly attitude is what kept you going. You didn’t have a home and had to get by the hard way, yet somehow you kept pushing forward. I truly look up to you for the strength you had. To go through everything you went through for so long is unimaginable, and I hope you knew how strong I thought you were.

I will miss your messages every holiday asking what I’m cooking, if I’m cooking, and when you were coming over. I’ll miss those little conversations and all the moments that I never realized would one day mean so much.

I still can’t believe you’re no longer here. My heart aches knowing I won’t get another message, another laugh, or another one of your crazy moments.

Don’t ever lose that silly, fun-loving attitude. Stay exactly who you are up there in Heaven, because that’s the Racheal I will always remember and love.

Rest easy, my sister. I love you more than words can say. Until we meet again. ❤️
