Ralph Raymond Scanlan

Ralph Raymond Scanlan, 49, passed on to the Lord on April 6, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was married to the love of his life, Deirdre, for 22 years. Born November 8, 1966 in Santa Ana, California, Ralph was the cherished son of Raymond Tasele and Vaosasaa Scanlan. He graduated from San Marcos High School in 1984 and then attended Palomar Community College. He joined Costco in 1985 and was a dedicated employee for over 30 years. He had an adventurous and loving spirit, was always having fun, joking and laughing with his family and friends. He enjoyed golfing especially when having a round with his mom. He was a proud father and devoted husband. He loved to spoil his sisters, nephews and nieces. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Deirdre, son Tasele, father Raymond Tasele Scanlan, mother Vaosasaa Scanlan, sisters Cindy Scanlan, Becca Manuwai (Billy), Lilivao Tautolo (Faaletino), nephews Makai, Mauka, and Makani Manuwai, Evan Brubaker (Chelsea), nieces Elizabeth and Katherine Brubaker, and grand-niece Tabitha Brubaker. A memorial service to celebrate Ralph's life will be held on April 18th 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mission Hills Church at 400 E. Mission Hills Ct., San Marcos CA. 92069.
