Raul “Sonny” M. Mendoza, 74 of Tolleson, Arizona passed away August 10, 2012. Mr. Mendoza was born April 27, 1938 in Tubac, Arizona and moved to Tolleson in 1949. Mr. Mendoza retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1991 where he served for 26 years as an Aircraft mechanic. He is survived by, his wife of 53 years Vera L. Mendoza, 4 sons; Raul of North Lawrence, Ohio, David and Mark of Phoenix, and Sammy of Goodyear, 2 daughters; Christina of Phoenix and Cynthia of Buckeye, 18 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Reyna Leyva of Tolleson and Celia Fontes of Phoenix. The visitation will be, Wednesday August 15, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave Phoenix, Arizona 85009.
