It's with a heavy heart many tears and reluctantly, that we send our Dad, Tata, Brother and Tio Junior - on his "final special journey". The bonus to this journey is that he will finally join the "love of his life", wife and best friend (Mary) - his sisters (Cuni and Angie), mother (Lola), in-laws (Joe and Lupe), Dad (Raymond) and many friends. He will miss us all - but not near as much as we'll miss him. No one will ever fill his void in our hearts!! Especially his son Raymond and two grandsons Michael and Little Ray.
Raymond "Junior" was truly one of the last, from "our Greatest Generation"!!! He was our role model for courage and determination.
Throughout his life he was never a complainer and faced each day happy, with a smile and positive attitude. He knew no strangers, and had a heart of gold. Home Depot & Lowe's were his favorite places to "schmooze" and shop - they also lost a valued friend and customer!!
He also leaves behind his sister (Elda), nieces, nephews, granddaughter and extended family.
We would all like to thank Hospice for their guidance, genuine compassion and care through a most difficult period for everyone.
Raymond "Junior" was a third generation Arizonan, born and raised in Phoenix. "Junior" loved anything that included riding a John Deere tractor, sunshine, home improvements and family. When it came to home projects - he knew a little about a lot and could master just about any!! He was always ready to help whoever asked, or simply when help was needed!!
He left us to early at age 90 with too much left to do, but he will forever be in our hearts! Tio Junior - (Dad, Tata, Brother) your "Joie-de-vivre" was your gift to us all. We will all hope to emulate, in our own lives.
"And now the time has come -- I've had regrets -- too few to mention"!
We love you!!
