We always knew that Matti was being safely and lovingly transported to school while in Mr. Ray's care. He was such a thoughtful, kind, gentle man! We were blessed to have him become a part of our life, and we will miss him dearly. Our prayers go out to his family.

Patty, you know my heart goes out to you and your family. Ray was a wonderful man who truly cared for those in his life. I'm grateful I have one of his fantastic wood pieces, to think of him, but mostly I'm grateful to have known him. God bless you and your family. Dee Dee Wilhite

When I think back of my childhood and those who made it so special, Mr. Schmieder is at the top of the list, always gentle and kind and trusting! He kept a close eye on what Laura and I were up to and guided us in making the right choices. He trusted us with his beautiful cabin in Prescott and we in turn respected him for it. Even though I have not seen you for many years you have ALWAYS been in my thoughts and prayers. Love you Mr.Schmieder.
