I am so heartbroken over your families loss, though I celebrate with you as Rich is with his Savior! I have many memories spending the night at your house Terri, I also remember traveling with your family to Ohio, as well as the memories of your family at Sunnyslope. I will always remember Rich as friendly, kind,  hard-working, and a godly man of character. He will be missed, he has left a legacy to be proud of. Love you all.

We always looked forward to your visits to Ohio.  Victoria definitely considers you both as her bonus grandparents. I always loved Richard’s gentle spirit and his great sense of humor. And of course we enjoyed visiting you at Miller’s Ice Cream and our trips to Der Dutchman farmer’s table. We love you Salinda. We are praying God wraps His arms around you with peace and comfort. Our hearts break for you Salinda. He's gone so quickly! Bill and I will dearly miss Richard and all our precious times together.  We're praying for you as you transition your daily life.  You're always welcome in our home. Love you!

My memories take me back to your first dates with Richard.  We double dated when you and I went to Berlin Bible School and we went to Plain City one weekend. There was Rich...that's where it all began. We've enjoyed your friendship over the many years since then.  Sending our love, hugs and prayers during this difficult time to you and your family.

Richard and I were friends from high school.  After a few decades we reconnected over ice cream and Der Dutchman.  It was always great to see summer arrive and know that Richard and Salinda would appear.  I consider it a great blessing to have spent moments with both.  His warm, welcoming smile and quiet demeanor will endure in my memory.

I want to thank this man Rich for being an ambassador of God. Also for being a mentor to me. You will be missed.
