Richard was born on March 4, 1937, in Dearborn, Michigan to Victor and Jenny Ciuk. He graduated from Fordson High School in 1956 and later went on to work for the Ford Motor Company for 35 years.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Jenny Ciuk; brother, Jim Ciuk and sister, Shirley Holato.
He loved to hike the hills around his family's house, had a love for horses and old car shows, and also loved his Michigan Football.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Ciuk; sister, Christine Latin; brother, Jerry Ciuk; sons, Michael (Adisa), and Darren (Jennifer); daughter, Laurie Bentley; grandchildren, Garret, Haley, Jackson, Elan "The Bug", and great-grandchildren, Sophia Grace and Andrew Ciuk.
The family would like to thank Agave Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Richard in his final days.
