I acted in "Woody Guthrie's American Song" with Richard in 1995-1996 as part of a touring show directed by Peter Glazer.  We were at City Theatre in Pittsbugh PA, Arkansas Repertory Theatre and a theater in Dayton, Ohio.

He was a fine man, a trouper, and I remember him fondly. 

Richard was one of my very best friends. In his very easy going,  gregarious cheerfulness and caring personality, I could see why he was chosen to work on the many sets he worked on.  He had the professional look and was an actor and a wonderful friend. I will cherish the times we spent together laughing about the stories we shared. I miss you my friend.  God, bless. LH

I was a fellow theatre major at the University of Arizona.  Richard was a good friend and will be missed.  Good night sweet prince and flights  of angels sing thee to thy rest.


I saw from a friend's social media post that Richard passed away and, although I never met him, I wanted to share this one little slice of our paths crossing. I wrote a radio script many years ago and Richard was the voice talent. I still remember his name because his superb comedic read helped to make it an award-winning radio commercial. My condolences to the family.

I was Richards Acting teacher at the University of Arizona many years ago. He was very talented and I remember seeing him in several shows after he left the U of A. Although we wer not close and I lost touch with him in later years, I have many fond memories of him and was surprised and saddened to hear of his death.
