Richard (Dick) was born in Pittsburg , PA, where he grew up the youngest of 3 brothers. He joined the Navy in 1943 at the age of 17. After WWII, he attended Penn State University and graduated in 1950 with an electrical engineering degree. He married his college sweetheart Lois Hall (nee Cook) in 1951. They moved to Phoenix in 1956 where he later received his Masters from Arizona State University. He worked for Sperry Rand Flight Sysytems (which later became Honeywell) for 39 years before retiring and then consulted with them on special projects for 9 more years.
He was preceeded in death by his wife of 49 years, Lois C Hall - the love of his life.
He was a loving husband and father, and will be greatly missed by his three daughters, Nancy Kocek, Terri Hart, Rhonda Green, their husbands, eight granchildren and four great-grandchildren.
