Richard Lee Hanson, 78, died Oct. 17, 2015. He was born to Eugene and Florence Mueller Hanson in Taylor, Wis. He graduated from North High in 1955, attended ASU, served in the AZ National Guard and spent this working life in the swimming pool industry. He loved God, family, country, sports (especially ASU), fishing and Word w/friends. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlene, sons Scott (Susan) and Jeff (Shanna), sister Carolyn McClellan, grandkids Matt (Kelsey), Mike (Karey) and Amanda Hanson, great granddaughter Coralynn Hanson, step-grandkids Brittany and Matt Winkler, brothers/sisters-in-law Rosalie and Ed Favilla and Janet and Gordie Kerby, three nephews and one niece. Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3104 W. Glendale Ave. Phoenix, with lunch following.
