Rick and I were baseball teammates in 3rd grade, classmates in High School but became digital friends later in life. We shared the joy's of being dads and men in an uncertain world. We connected most mornings and shared some powerful discussions. Rick ofen offered me valuable feedback about thoughts I was having and projects I was pursuing. I valued our rekindled friendship. I will miss him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Rick in person. Only on fb did I get to know my cousin. I admired his courage and strength as he waged war against the enemy cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with all who love him

Rick and I graduated high school in 1983 in Alexandria MN. We were not close friends back then, but I believe we could have been. We reconnected through Facebook a few years ago and admired his attitude while fighting his cancer. He is an inspiration to many people including me. Rest in peace 🙏.
