Hunter, Richard Morris 89, passed away on August 13, 2013 at the family home in north Phoenix. He is survived by his wife Mary Geraldine Hunter, and their children Stanley D. Hunter, Gregory J. Hunter, Cindy L. Hunter, and four grandchildren. A memorial service followed by a reception will be held at A. L. Moore Grimshaw on 710 W. Bethany Home Road on Wednesday August 21st at 2:00pm. Richard "Dick" and "Jerry" were married for 65 years and 363 days and moved to Phoenix in 1950. A veteran of WW II, Dick was a contractor and educator in the Valley. For twenty years he designed and constructed many homes in the Phoenix area, including the family home. After retiring from construction Dick taught in the Alhambra School District for 14 years.
