Richard Keith Johnson

Richard Keith Johnson, age 71, of Prescott Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on September 16, 1949 to the late Edgar and Helen (Taliaferro) Johnson in Lexington, KY. He graduated Berea High School, in Berea KY. He owned a couple of night clubs before going into the antique business, specializing in antique toys. Rick was very friendly and generous to the elderly people with whom he antiqued as well as his neighbors. Rick enjoyed cooking and was a good cook. He also loved to play poker. He lived life to the fullest. Rick is survived by his partner of 30 years and caregiver, Patricia Studt, three siblings, Marge Young, Joy Payne, Stephen Johnson and wife Barbara, 4 nieces and 3 nephews, as well as many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Edgar (Buddy) Johnson, niece Linda (Martin) Hoit, and two brother-in-law’s Charles Young and John Payne. No funeral services are planned at this time.
