Richard Troutman Born January 26, 1937, in Fort Wayne Indiana, to parents Olan Richard & Esther Ruth Howarth. He was adopted and raised by his mom's parents Guy Virgil & Lela Hazel Troutman at a young age. He passed away on August 15, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2002, he made a new home in Arizona, where he enjoyed the sunshine and the community around him. For many years, he dedicated himself as a bus driver for the city of Long Beach, CA a role he took pride in and where he was known for his friendly smile and dependable nature.
Richard is survived by his wife Judy of more than 25 years, daughters Julie & Lhasa, son, Virgil, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in his life.
Though quiet by nature, Richard had a big heart and a steady presence that brought comfort and kindness to those who knew him. He will be remembered for his hard work, his gentle spirit, and the love he carried for his family.
