Funeral services will be held at 10:00am July 22, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 701 N. 95th Avenue, Tolleson, Arizona 85353. Burial will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rita was born in Upland, California to Kenneth Goodman and Nellie (Ammons) Goodman on February 6, 1947. She married Richard Louis Clift on October 21, 1967 in Van Nuys, CA. They were married for 53 years. During their marriage she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and Homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Avondale, Arizona.
Rita was preceded in death by both her parents. Rita is survived by her husband, Richard Clift, Avondale, AZ. Her children: Richard Clift II, Costa Mesa, CA; Rebecca Clift, Irvine, CA; Randall Clift, Tolleson, AZ; Ryan Clift, Moreno Valley, CA; Rachael Arpan, Avondale, AZ; Robert Clift, Avondale, AZ. 12 Grandchildren: Cara Taylor, Pocatello, ID; Chloe Clift, Tempe, AZ; Marena Clift, Moreno Valley, CA; Caleb Clift, Tolleson, AZ; Benjamin Uliasz, Flagstaff, AZ; Bailey Clift, Moreno Valley, CA; Travis Arpan, Avondale, AZ; Cooper Clift, Tolleson, AZ; Paige Clift, Moreno Valley, CA; Braxton Arpan, Avondale, AZ; Aiden Arpan, Avondale, AZ; Madison Arpan, Avondale, AZ. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Ollie Taylor and Lillian Taylor; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Richard Clift II, Randall Clift, Ryan Clift, Daniel Arpan, Robert Clift, Benjamin Uliasz.
