Robert Scott Anderson

Robert “Scott” Anderson was born in Minden LA on 10/5/1972. He left this earth on 8/8/2026 at the age of 53. He died of natural causes at his condo in Phoenix AZ. He had been having numerous medical issues over the last few months and just recently had additional blood work and medical tests without any definitive diagnosis and solution discovered. He never got to see the results of the final tests.

Scott moved to AZ from TX in 1977 at age 4. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan in his early years. He started school in Scottsdale AZ. As a youngster, he played football, baseball, and soccer and was an “above average” athlete. He graduated in 1990 from Horizon High School. He lived life loudly (we always joked he should have been a stand-up comedian). He had a huge heart, a big smile, and was always in a joyous mood. He had a group of friends from high school, many of which he was still in contact with at his passing. He loved the outdoors and was an avid camper. He loved his guns and loved to hunt. He was a huge NASCAR fan and was lucky enough to have dinner with Dale Earnhardt Jr a few years ago. He loved old cars, watching car shows and watching the history channel. He was in the Army from 1996-1999. He graduated from Fort Gordon Signal School as an Honor Grad and won numerous “sharpshooter” awards. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea, in 2003. They were married for 17 years. He graduated from the Arizona Automotive Institute as an honor grad in 2005 although he never pursued an automotive career. He learned about cabling and low voltage wiring while in the Army and he spent the next 20+ years working in that field. He would proudly tell you about all the buildings he had wired or re-wired in Phoenix and the surrounding area. He recently returned from his dream vacation with his son, Ryan, to Honolulu, Hawaii. They spent a week there. He had always wanted to tour Pearl Harbor and was able to do so. He also told everyone that would listen that his best accomplishment in life was his only son, Ryan. He worshiped Ryan. Scott was a very good dad. He was also a very strong family advocate.

Scott is survived by his son, Ryan Scott Anderson (21 this month), his brothers Jason (Ashleigh) Anderson and TC (Danielle) Anderson, and his father Curtis (Deborah) Anderson III. His mother, Rosemary Frost Anderson, pre-deceased him, passing in 2019. Scott is survived by his uncle J Scott (Monica) Anderson, his uncle Johnnie (Cindy) Frost, his uncle Danny Frost, his aunt Amy Frost, his uncle Jack (Rimma) Frost. He is also survived by Preston Anderson, Tommy Anderson V, Reese Anderson, Stewart Anderson, Trenton Anderson, and Henley Anderson – nieces and nephews.

Scott will be cremated. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday 10/10, 9 am, at CCV Scottsdale, 19030 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale AZ (just off the 101 and Pima. Donations, in his honor or on his behalf, can be made to your preferred/favorite charity.
