Today is the one year anniversary of Bob's passing. Salute to fond memories of a trusted mentor and friend.

A Rum Manhattan on the rocks was our favorite cocktail.  Robert came up with that drink in the 1960’s while living with Leivian and Tolliver at the Driftwood Apartments on Colter Street.
That was before we moved to 52 East Hoover Avenue.

My sister Jean, Bob and Nicole are greatly missed.  We had many
happy family holidays in America, the UK and Europe.  We used
to meet up with Jean, Bob and Lisa when they did trips to Europe, Croatia, Sicily, Italy and Malta.
Many happy memories.

Dear Uncle Bob,

I am so sorry to have only just heard the news of your passing. 

I hope you are enjoying your time with Auntie Jean and Nicole and everyone else who knows you. 

I thoroughly enjoyed our times together, whether that was traveling around Arizona or taking you on an architectural tour of London with the one remit from you that we had to stop and have a G&T in almost every pub.  

I hope you are at peace.

Uncle Bob, what a character you were, your stories had us all laughing and your pure honesty told us knew where we stood with you! 😀  Even though we lived across the pond I have many fond memories of you. To Bob’s family! We were friends of Bob and Jean for many years! My husband and Bob met in Architecture School at ASU. 
We traveled the world with them and took many cruise’s together. They are both missed!

I was there.  He was my roommate with Bob Leivian.  1964-1966.
We went to basic training in San Antonio together in 1960, but we did not know each other in 1960.

Hoover Avenue was our base for many years.
we built back 75 East Hoover in 1966,1967.

It is with sorrow I read Bob’s obituary 
Bob passed away just one week after my husband Glen so I feel deeply for your loss.
I have been rereading my diary entries for 1965 and Jean and Bob appear with double dating what happy times. Jean and I emigrated to America together .
