We only knew "Santa" from dinners at the Arena.  My grandchildren were in total awe of his complete persona, whether he was Bob or Santa.  He seemed very kind and sincere.  My heart goes out to your entire family.  He's probably up there tossing back a cold one with my husband.

Dear Goforth family,
      I worked with Bob for the past 5 years at MVD,I will miss his laugh and smile and his very funny sense of humor. I will miss all the sports talk and how he loved his Steelers. I will miss the way he called me A'dam'. Christmas will never be the same around the MVD again without Santa. Bob will live in all of you. RIP my friend. You will be loved ALWAYS!!!!!

Mary, We are so grateful we were able to spend time with you two last summer.  My first memory of Cousin Bob was when I was 8 yrs. old.  My mom and I were staying with Bob's parents (my Uncle Bill and Aunt Velmor.) Bob brought his guitar and sang many songs.  I kept asking him to play Proud Mary for me.  He played it every time I asked, never lost patience, and told me jokes in between!  What a fun loving spirit!  We will miss him.  Our hearts, prayers, and love go out to you and the rest of the family.  God bless you Bob!  You touched the world with love, humor, and great music! I work at MVD and knew Bob.  What a delightful human being he was.  The first time I ever met Bob was at the main office on Jefferson at Christmas time. He was playing Santa for the office.  It was something all of us came to expect --seeing Santa every year giving out candy canes and singing.  I worked in the Tempe office when Bob worked there and I remember he would come out of his office periodically to sing.  He had such a beautiful voice and such a sense of humor.  What an entertainer he was.  He will truly be missed by all those at MVD who had the pleasure of knowing him and being treated to his Santa Claus character for so many years.

Bob,we had fun at MVD and I always enjoyed seening you, joking with you and getting a hug.  You were the first Santa my granddauhter Brianna was not afraid of.  I remember you with the fonest of memories.  God Bless You, you are in a better place, you are with our Lord now.

Santa (Bob), I remember going to the Casino for lunch with you and all the people coming up to tell you what they wanted for Christmas.  You singing Blue Swade Shoes and the ladies in the lobby going crazy cuz you sounded just like Elvis Prestley.  I will always remember wearing the little red nose for you, I wouldn't do that for just anyone. You will be forever missed and I am so thankful that my Grandbaby got to know you as the real Santa for her very first Christmas.  Thoughts and Prays to the family and God Bless you all.

Lets do C3 and then E2.  Turn the volume up a little bit.  Was always great fun working with Bob with Mary sitting on the side and watching over us.  He will be missed by so many people with his voice and humor. If I get to join him up there, I'm sure the first thing I will hear is play d4 and stop drumming on the table and Joanne will hear "how you doing rose bud."

I will FOREVER be thankful that Seth and I got to visit with you just two days before you passed. Music was your passion, and I will always cherish my last memory of you singing and tapping along to the beat of your music from 1973 while you laid in bed. You looked so happy and so content......It was such a beautiful sight. I will truly miss you telling us hilarious jokes or stories from the past. But most of all, your smile and laughter.

Aunt Mary, Karen, Gary, and Dale.....your loss is my loss, too.  I will always remember Uncle Bob singing the Elvis songs for me, and me swooning when he did.  Mom loved to travel to Arizona because she would be with her sister, Mary, and Bob.  She always had a great time there (so did I) and loved going to Las Vegas.  Because of Uncle Bob, I got to see Arizona, eat Mexican food, and can say that I was in Needles, CA!!  So many happy memories to keep in my heart.

First off, I love you! And thank you for always making laugh. I will never forget your answer when I asked how you were, "Well, Andrea, I am finer than a frog hair split four ways!" You said it every time and it made me smile every time. I will cherish: 
The times you took me to McDonalds when I knew you liked Buger King.
The infamous attempt to comb my hair to get me ready for gymnastics.
The hot tub moments in your back yard.
Me being your "elf" at Christmas time.
You attending my sporting and dance events.
You repeating a joke - when sometimes I didn't get it.
Us bellying laughing together just because we could.
You hogging the bowl of mixed nuts - you always went after the cashews!

I am a very lucky girl because I got to sit on the most loving and perfect Santa's lap in the world. Keep singing to those family members and friends who have also passed over...please sing a Dean Martin song (That's Amore)for my Gpa Cat and give my very missed Amy a big hug from her cousin.
