(Lind) in Etowah, Arkansas. He moved to Caruthersville, Missouri when he was a few months
old. He moved to Blytheville, Arkansas before elementary school and lived there until 1963. He
attended First Assembly of God in Blytheville.
Bob Howard moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1963. He worked for ITT Cannon, American
Graduate School and Premier Risk Management. He loved teaching and was able to fulfill that
goal after joining Premier Risk Management. In addition, he was able to work with both sons at
Premier Risk Management.
The thing Bob loved most was spending time with family and friends. He loved imparting
wisdom to his two sons. He taught them about God, cars, and his astute appreciation of nature
which included respect for wildlife and hunting. The smile on Bob’s face was always grandest
when he was surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed
hunting, traveling, mentoring, and spending time at the cabin. Bob’s happy place was on the
deck at his cabin in Clear Creek Pines in Happy Jack, Arizona where he would grab a cup of
coffee and head to the deck first thing in the morning to watch the deer, elk and other wildlife.
Bob was very active in the church. He served on boards, volunteered to lead workshop and
prayer, taught Sunday school and Young Married classes. Bob taught his sons the importance
of staying involved at the church and being available to assist with anything the church needed;
to included multiple building projects. Bob loved the Lord and everyone around him witnessed
this by his life style, his works and his actions.
You didn’t have to be around Bob very long to notice his love of his Lord and Saviour. One of
Bob’s favorite scriptures was Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not
lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your
paths straight.” New American Standard Bible.
Bob is survived by his wife Sue Howard; Son, Steven Howard and his wife Carla; Son, David
Howard; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
