Dad,

You did not have to ask santa for new socks. You asked me how I knew you slept with socks and I told you because you are my dad and I know you.  It made you smile because I knew you.  I told you that I would sneak in your room when you least expected it and cut off the end of your socks  if you did not take them off when you slept.  I made you sign the  calendar so you could not say you took a shower yesterday.  That made you laugh because I put the calendar and a pen  and waiting for you to sign it. You were a very smart and sneaky but I told you I am two steps ahead of you because I am my fathers daughter.  I have pickle #2 and he reminds me so much of you and pickle.  You were kicked out of the circle of trust  many times when it came to washing your hands and eating ice cream.  I would say have I told you that I love you and you would say I love you too. You had not spoken for a couple of days at the hospital but when I saw you I said I love you. You had the breathing mask on and saved your last words for  me by moving you lips and saying I love you too.  The peace I have because of your last words.  I miss you so much but what better place to be! You are with Jesus!
