At her funeral service, my sister, LaVerta, and mom's sister, Loretta, put up a display of some of the many things Mom had made over the years. Things I'd forgotten. Crocheted angel clothespins, turtle soap covers, Christmas lightbulb potholders, and more! So much love, stored in thread and time, that she shared with so many people. We'll all miss her, and look forward to when we'll get some of those hugs that she so loved to give people. Love you, Mom!

I've been her neighbor since I was 9 she watch me grow my children & grandchildren grow. She was kind & always would have a smile. I would see her sometimes in the morning cutting her grass with the old rolling cutter that you have to push. She also had given me crochet rooster oven mittens. As I looked outside I was very heartbroken cause I seen that it was her that passed. To her children I'm so sorry for your lost & My deepest condolences to the rest of her family & friends from her neighbor across the street from her home.
