11/22/1949 to 8/21/2023
Roland Danielson was a devoted and loyal brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He enjoyed hearing everyone’s background and stories. He was interested in so many things, and if you had one
common set of interests, you might not even be aware of all his other interests or friends. He graduated from Alhambra High School in Phoenix, Arizona in 1967. A few years later, he traveled to Europe for his first international trip. Over his lifetime, he went on many trips and had many adventures. Some were with his lifelong high school friends, some were with family, and some were with work friends. He had almost
unbelievable stories from every adventure, but he usually took photos that provided proof!
Trains were of particular interest to Roland. He loved attending the train conventions and meeting with others to ride trains, talk about trains, take pictures and compare notes.
Roland also followed many sports and could talk knowledgeably about them. This made it easy
to connect with people and have a conversation about baseball, football, hockey, NASCAR,
tennis, and almost any other sport you can think of. Often at a baseball game he would be having
a great time with the stranger sitting next to him.
He is survived by three sisters, five nieces and nephews, and more friends all over the world. He
had a quick sense of humor and will be missed greatly.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Greenwoodmemorylawn.com for the Danielson family.
