Barbara and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Roy was part of our lives during some very special memories! He married Mark and I, of course prior did our marriage prep. He was there for our first daughters baptism and then married her and her husband years later. He also blessed our family with the celebration of my parents, Richard and Patricia Stief's, 50th Anniversary, our 25th Anniversary and my sister's , Jerene and Bob Olsen's 25th Anniversary. Of course Barbara, you were by his side every time. He has touched our lives in ways that will never be forgotten.

May God bless you all,

Barbara and Mark Moehling

Thoughts of our time at St. Joseph's, all the young families growing together in faith and life. Coming from different parts of the country and making a community that will always have a special place in our hearts. May the choirs of angels meet Roy, and lead him to paradise.

Since Joe, Bibi and Rick have passed, I have not been in touch with anyone as I should have. I was not aware of Roy's illness and forgive me for not keeping in touch. Words cannot begin to express my sadness. Please take care of yourself. I know what you will be going through from here on in. Maybe not alike but close enough. Good husband, father and friend to our family. Love you. Prayers to all

Hi Roy,
I want to let you know I miss you dear friend.
Thank you for a lifetime of generosity, kindness, and love. No friends of yours were denied their wishes of help or advice, and I was one of many. Our dear Lord, I am sure, had a long list of things for you to do along with a long ladder when you arrived.
I enjoyed your friendliness, companionship, and long stories; no details were omitted.
You experienced lots of pain these last three years, but never during that time did I hear you ever complain. You were so stalwart.
Finally I so enjoyed our short sojourns. Rest assured they meant so much to me.
Rest in peace. Bro.
See you. Jim

Dearest Barbara and children,
it was with great sadness that we learned about the passing of Roy. Though i never had the pleasure, it never ceases to surprise me how one can know someone almost solely through the eyes of the love someone else has for him or her. It was the case with your Ron, dear Barbara.
I cannot fathom the pain, nor would have words for it, but i know your strength, and your love for God, so i know you rest in The Good Hands, as well as you know he does now too.
So be assured of prayers, the same ones you have said for my family also. Praise God for the communion of Saints!
receive a hug that cannot be given a this time, but one sent lovingly nonetheless.

Barbara, I am so sorry for your loss. My best memory is you 2 holding marriage prep in your home. Kimberly and Steve were there. Roy married them that year in 2005. Love and prayers
