

He was born in Orient, Washington to Buryl Osborn and the late Bonnie Hotchkiss July 2nd, 1954. Royce graduated from Kettle Falls High School, class of 1972, in Kettle Falls, Washington and went on to receive his Associate’s Degree from DeVry Institute, class of 1975, in Phoenix Arizona. He was married to Edith Dale Osborn on December 4th, 1993.
Royce was a superb electronics technician, holding positions at ITT Courier, Loral Aeronutronic, Lockheed Martin and Motorola Corporation before starting his own company, LordRO PC Repair. He was very proud of his knack for troubleshooting and his work on the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile. He was widely known for his patience and persistence with difficult problems.
Teaching was one of Royce’s greatest pleasures. He seized every opportunity to teach those around him about life and relationships. Royce was an active member of North Phoenix Baptist Church. His ministry spanned two decades ranging from financial and marital counseling to bible study leadership. He devoted himself tirelessly to raising his three kids with Christian values.
Royce loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman whose passion was the thrill of outsmarting his prey. His favorite activity was watching the birds that gathered on his patio and mimicking their calls.
His wife, Edith Osborn of Phoenix, Arizona, survives him. He is also survived by: his children Anthony (Joy), Angela (Michelle) and Adam (Stephanie) Osborn of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren Andrea, Anna, Alayna, Anthony Jr. and Bradley Osborn of Phoenix, Arizona; his siblings Joyce Bishop of Colville, Washington; Pennie Lindsey and Aldon Lindsey of Orient, Washington; his father Buryl (June) Osborn of Marysville, Washington. He was predeceased by his younger brother Weldon Lindsey.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 12th, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at North Phoenix Baptist Church:
