Rudy S. Verdugo died on March 2nd at 5:18am at the age of 81. Rudy was preceded in death by his mother and father Ernesto and Josephine Verdugo, his brother Frank Verdugo and two sisters Armida Meisel and Hortensia Newman. Surviving relatives include the following: Gloria Delgado, wife; Ernesto Verdugo, brother; Alexandra Sanderlin, daughter; Carlos Verdugo, son; Raul Verdugo son; and Felicia Rodriquez, daughter. Rudy retired from thirty-one years of civil service as an aviation mechanic after receiving an honorable discharge from the navy in March 1955. Rudy had a passion and affinity for restoring old cars. He lived a modest life content with day to day simplicities. Rudy’s favorite treat in his later years was a Dairy Queen vanilla shake. Funeral mass is scheduled to commence at Most Holy Trinity March 23rd at 10:00am- 8620 North 7th Street Phoenix, Az 85020. Reception immediately following at 7711 North 5th Avenue Phoenix Az 85020.
