

Salvador Obregon, Sr., age 65 of Phoenix, Passed away on February 15, 2016. He was born in Mexico to Adela and the late Rogelio Obregon. His family lived in Chicago for many years and is survived by many family members still living there. He remains a Chicago Bears fan. While living in Chicago, Mr. Obregon joined the U.S. Army and honorably served his country. Salvador will be remembered by many, for his great sense of humor. He was very outgoing and quick to speak with people he had never met before. Family was very important to Salvador and he supported his family as a photographer for many years. He enjoyed being the chief cook at family gatherings and his family enjoyed his cooking.
He is survived by his wife Socorro, his mother Adela, his children Veronica Obregon, Salvador Obregon, Jr. (and his wife Connie), Sara Jaramillo (and her husband Ernest) Adriana Reza (and her husband Chris), Daniela Obregon (and her significant other David Richey);,brothers Valentine and Rogelio Obregon Sr.; sisters Ramona Obregon-Cech, Martha Obregon, Rosa Obregon-Greco; grandchildren; Monica Rivera (and her husband Alexander), Gabriela Meyer, Isabella Meyer, Johnathan Meyer Jr., Michael Jaramillo, Sophia Jaramillo, Matthew Jaramillo and a great granddaughter Adeline Rivera. His life will be celebrated with a visitation, Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 5:00pm to 8:00pm and a Funeral Service Thursday, February 18, 2016, at 8:00am; both at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Committal service following the funeral service, 9:30am, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
