

· Had 7 Siblings (4 brothers and 3 sisters)
· Refuged to Austria at the age of 13 due to the current war
· Moved to New York City by boat at 16 years old and lived with his uncle Charlie
· At 18, he met Elizabeth Walter at a newspaper stand
· Married to Elizabeth on February 24, 1963
· Had 2 Daughters, Elizabeth and Barbara
· 6 Grandchildren: Christopher, Amber, Tiffany, Derik, Julia and Alex
· 4 Great-Grandchildren: Braylen, Jaylynn, Johnelle and Carter
· Moved to Arizona in 1980, lived in the same house since 1981 in phoenix, AZ
· Worked for City of Phoenix as a maintenance mechanic for 20 Years, then retired
· Had a Passion for Soccer since a young age, played professionally in New York, still referred occasionally
· Loved playing Chess, played professionally with Bobby Fisher and was top ranked in the United States.
· Always put his family first and loved children!
o In New York, he broke his leg playing soccer and he still worked 1 job as a mechanic during the day and 1 job as a cab driver at night to support his family!
o After working overtime every week, he would still take the time to take his grandchildren on many weekend vacations to Sedona, Flagstaff, Rocky Pointe and ect.
