

Sarah passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Nicholas and Minnie Nasser. Upon her passing, she was warmly met at the gates of Heaven by her husband, Joseph, parents, sisters and brothers who preceded her in death.
In 1958 she moved with her husband, Joseph, and two children to Phoenix where they opened a shoe repair store. In 1960, she became a young widow when she lost the love of her life, Joe. She was a wonderful, strong and courageous mother who raised two beautiful children.
She worked for many companies over the years as a bookkeeper. She was very involved in her church and truly loved the Lord. She also enjoyed volunteering with several organizations.
She moved to Sun City and for many years enjoyed being involved in several activities and clubs, her favorite being in Quilting Club. She also enjoyed spending many summers at their cabin in Munds Park.
She leaves behind her children Daniel George (Barbara) and Deborah Kuhn (Donald), grandchildren Jennifer Kissler (Corby), Christopher Kipp, Michele Ramirez, and Brian George (Brittany), and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Nicholas Nasser and several nieces and nephews.
Sarah loved her family deeply and enjoyed cooking and baking wonderful Arabic food and sharing it with friends and family. Her tremendous inner strength and wisdom was softly concealed by her beautiful, positive personality. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was an example to all who knew her. Her legacy of selflessness and grace will be treasured by all.
