Serg is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn, a son Michael and a daughter Audrey McMillon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Elizabeth Ticknor, grandparents, Bruce and Grace Ticknor, and grandson, Lane McMillon.
He was a Radio Amateur for 71 years (K2MDO, W7ILH, and W7MC). Serg was a Life Member of the IEEE, ARRL, 10-10 International, the AZ Desert Chapter of 10-10, and AMSAT. He was also a member of the Arizona Repeater Assoc., Antique Wireless Assoc. And QCWA BMG AZ Chapter 16. Serg was a member of the Oxford, NY Lodge of the F&AM. He was an Assistant Scout Master in E. Syracuse NY, and an avid bicyclist, member of a local ride club and participant in Sr. Olympics. Serg was the Founder, CEO and President of Wide Band Engineering Company, Inc.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, or the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund, 225 Main Street, Newington, CT 06111-1400.
