November 23, 1988 – October 12, 2025
Born and raised under the Arizona sun, Sherry Lynn Springfield lived life on her own terms- bold, stubborn, loving, and a little unpredictable. From the start, she was a fiery soul with freckles to match, the kind of person who could make you laugh until your sides hurt and then make you shake your head five minutes later.
Sherry was a free spirit through and through. She loved the roar of a Harley, a cold drink in her hand, and the open road calling her name. Sherry had a spirit that could not be contained. She loved adventure, a good laugh, and the kind of fun that turned ordinary days into stories you’d tell for years. Whether it was camping under the stars, cracking jokes at the worst times, or blasting music way too loud, Sherry’s life was full of laughter, adventure, and the kind of chaos that makes for the best stories. Beneath her fire was a heart that felt deeply- even when life didn’t go easy on her.
She spent time working in the medical field and various other jobs but found her truest self in the chaos and color of everyday life. Sherry was not religious, but she believed in God in her own way, with a faith as unique as her- imperfect but sincere. Those who truly knew her saw the soul underneath it all – wild, loving, and searching for peace.
She leaves behind her beloved children- Lexis Lujan, Jasmine Lujan, Jayden Lujan, Jesse Gerner, and Leanne Springfield. Her siblings Brandy Springfield, James Springfield Jr, Charles Springfield, Jonathan Springfield, and Katie Springfield. Along with her parents Kimberly Jackson and James Springfield Sr. and grandmother Martha Wood.
Though her journey was not without pain, Sherry will be remembered for her laughter, stubborn spirit, and fiery soul. Her story reminds us that even the fiercest souls need gentleness, and even in struggle, there is beauty. Sherry’s spirit will be missed deeply, remembered always, and carried forward in the hearts of those who loved her most.
“Some souls are too wild for this world. May hers finally be free.”
