Sheryl Anne Major, 72, passed away at home into the arms of God after a brave battle with cancer on July 18, 2022. She was the devoted mother to Michael Voogd (Sharon) and Sean Voogd and the loving grandmother to Christopher, David, Audrey and Consuelo. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, William Major and her parents Philip and Norine Major.
Born in Ontario, Canada, Sheryl moved to Arizona as a young girl. Her heart was in teaching and counseling and she completed her coursework for her PhD in Counseling/Psychology before retiring.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Sheryl's name to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of the Celebration of her life on Wednesday, August 3rd at 11:00 AM at Desert Christian Fellowship, 1445 W. Northern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Interment will be private.
