

Born on June 6, 1943, in Chicago, Shirley was known for her unwavering dedication to family, friends, and community. She spent her years caring for her family and any children that crossed her path, always putting others before herself and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Shirley is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and John Lane and Cheri and Dave Gossage; her grandchildren, Hayden and Keiran Lane and Lexander, Leeland, Marion and Mae Lynn Gossage; her brothers Jim Harmon and Keith Harmon; her sister (that she prayed for God to give her) Sharon (Candy) Grimes along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces who will all forever cherish the memories they made together. She was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband Berny Keiran.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Shirley’s life on November 8th at 6pm at her home and burial near Lake of Egypt on July 25, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child, honoring her legacy of love, compassion, and service.
Shirley was cherished by all and whose warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed, but her love and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
