Shirley, or Mrs. Lachance as I always respectfully called her, was another mom to me growing up on Paradise Drive: her heartfelt laughter at a silly kid joke, the wave of her hand as she encouraged me to "slow down" and her cheerful call-out to those of us in the pool when approaching with a platter of peanut butter/marshmallow fluff sandwiches...I always felt an honorary family member during my daily visits.
Mr. Lachance, Karen, Dee and Bobby, please know that her sparkling eyes and vibrant laugh are in the memories and hearts of those who knew her. She, and all of your are blessed.

We met Shirley through gatherings at her daughters home, Dee. Loved her when we first met her. Such a fun-loving, interesting and enjoyable lady. Her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes always made you feel good. So glad to have known her and have fun memories. Love you Shirley. Make them laugh in heaven. Always, Nancy & John
