Shirley was and is amazing woman. She was a very devoted Wife, Mother and Grandma. She was always there for me when my children were sick and a phone call away. My children have best memories of there Grandma from going to Disneyland and the Awesome Hawaiian vacation we all went on. My children always looked forward to there Christmas ornaments she would send them every year. Her smile could light up a room and her hugs were amazing. She was a great Mother-In-law to me. Her faith in God was amazing. She always told me that "God only gives you what you can handle.. Nothing more or nothing less." I still repeat those words on a daily basis. I will not say good bye, I will say see you later. I will always Love you Shirley!

My mind was wandering tonight and went to fun memories of Shirley on a grand Hawaiian family vacation. It was right on the ocean and Shirley was an awesome grandmother who doubted over her grand children. A lot of funny events took place that week and I can hold those thoughts dear in my heart. Shirley you will be missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again. Hold a chair on the lanai for me!!!

Shirley was a loving mother (to many of us), wife, "grammel", and friend.  I felt as if I knew her entire family, although I've not met many of them.  I hired Shirley at Smurfit and worked with her daily for 5 years, then hired her again when I started my own small business.  She was a pleasure to talk with and always had fun stories.  I will miss her energy and bright smile.  I was floored when I heard she passed.

My heart was completely broke in two when I found out that Shirley had passed on to our loving God. I will miss her smile, her strength, and straight forward attitude. She was a giver in so many ways. A pillar in her family which she loved so much and in her church community at Coolwater Church, which how I was blessed to have known her.  Everytime I walked in the church she always rushed over to say hello.  When they say the Good die young, well this applies definately.  GOD has a plan for her which I know has wings attached.  Rest in peace, until we meet again..

I worked with Shirley @ Smurfit for a little over a year. She was a very nice lady. Prayers go out to her family.

Shirley was a kind and caring grandma to her grandchildren. We shared Christine and Austin. The children loved the Christmas ornaments she sent them every year and making Christmas cookies when they were there. Also she was just a fun lady. I enjoyed spending time with her especially at Disneyland with our grandkids. We will all miss her but be comforted that she is at peace with the Lord. Pam and Bob McHaney

Shirley was my Aunt.  She would take me to  her high school basketball games when I was little.  She loved to cook and would make me special things, taught me about make-up and would always take my side against mom!  Faithful to the church and steadfast in her beliefs about government.  Gotta Love Her......I do and will surely miss her!

I WORKED WITH SHIRLEY AT STONE CONTAINER SHE WAS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND CHEERFUL. WE CHIT CHATTED A LOT.  SHE RECENTLY VISITED ME AT MY HOME.

I also worked with Shirley at Smurfit. She was a good lady and friend. My Condolences to the Family. R.I.P.

I new Shirley through my sister Linda. She was an awesome lady and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley's family.

Shirley was my Momma Shirley she gave me strength and hugs courage thru my hard times, she gave me laughter and love knew when to give a hug, she was a true believer in the lord. I know how much she loved her husband children and grandchildren. She share lots of stories and love and dedication to everyone she came in contact with. Momma Shirley will be greatly missed. My heart is sad but I know she will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. My love and prayers to her family. RIP Momma Shirley with all my love

Shirley was a wonderful friend and a strong woman who loved her family very much. She was a woman of faith and steadfast believer. I could always count on her at Coolwater to share some time with me. She will forever be in my heart. My sympathies to her family.

I worked with Shirley for years at Smurfit-Stone.  She was always a wonderful, cheerful person to be around.  Gracious is word that comes to mind when I think of Shirley.  I know she will be missed by her family and friends.  My prayers are with you.

Shirley and I were classmates at South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She lived on the same street as my family (McKinnie St.) and some times we walked to school together.
